Being “In Time”
A mentor of mine would say that we must be “in time”, live “in time” and act “in time”. He would essentially say there was no use in being “on time” if the intention to limit ourselves to a certain timing is simply for the purpose of sticking to an ideal schedule… Although setting realistic timelines is important, the idea of “being on time” refers to a sense of “time” that is external to our bodies, and that in my experience cripples creativity, connectedness and completion.
Give yourself the space and time to be present, in the moment, and to allow situations to grow and happen “in time”. Everything takes the time that is needed.
I have started thinking in terms of “Power, Respect, Time” - Honor the Universe/Higher Power/God; Respect and listen to your journey, mission and your environment; and respect that it will take the time it needs, the resources and the rest that is required.
Allow yourself to simply be and live “in time”.
