A friend’s hardships inspired this short love letter.

Hey Base,

Bold is being beautiful, daring to be whole when social pressures push us to be cautious.

But you, took the thickness of your experiences and said no to the exploitation of your emotions. You took that one step further and put the “stank naked truth” to bare. You had compassion for you; and that courage to stand straight and look the lie in the eye. Don’t close your eyes — Stay in the thickness and stay bold.
